This Easter season, our Lead Pastor Ric Sindel is presenting a series of four Sermons on the “Four great doors that Easter allows us to walk through”. Those doors are the doors of :
Denial:
Jesus has died, the worst thing that could ever happen,
but Jesus has died for us, and Jesus has risen.
And so because of Easter, because the worst thing has already happened, in place of denial, we can live in hope.
Anxiety:
Jesus has risen, God has all things ultimately in his hands,
we don’t need to be overwhelmed with anxiety,
we can learn to trust God in what will happen eventually.
1 Peter 5:7 – “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”
Sorrow:
At Easter, Jesus was sorrowful. When we are sorrowful, we can know that God walks with us.
Joy:
Joy comes through knowledge of the victory of good. On Easter Sunday when Jesus rose from the dead, Jesus accomplished the greatest victory for the greatest good.
We invite you to come and explore these themes of Easter with us. See this website for Service times. You will be most welcome!
