Hi! Welcome to our site. If you are visiting us for the first time, this place on our site is just for you. You can quickly identify some key information you may wish to know about us as a church and also link to more specific detail elsewhere in the web site.

You’re welcome to join us at the Rouse Hill Community Baptist Church.

Rouse Hill Community Baptist Church (formerly Lighthouse Community Church) is a diverse group of people of all ages who come together to celebrate their common care for each other and their shared love for Jesus.

Sunday Worship Services

Our Sunday morning gathering is an informal time of worship, celebration, teaching and fellowship that starts at 9.30 am and lasts about an hour and 30 minutes.

We meet at Lot 21, Mile End Road, Rouse Hill, NSW,  in the buildings of Mile End Community (Seventh Day Adventist) Church. A map is provided below and you can obtain directions by visiting the FIND US section of our website.

Who We Are

The original name of the church, Lighthouse, came from the church’s shared desire and vision to be a light for God’s love and care for people, both within the local Rouse Hill/Kellyville community in NSW, and beyond. Our name is now Rouse Hill Community Baptist Church but our desire to reflect God’s love and care for people remains the same.  We believe (and have discovered through experience) that God has revealed himself to us through the coming to Earth of God’s Son, Jesus.  Jesus is the only person in history who is both God and human. Through his life, Jesus shows us the way God wants us to live in self-giving love for God and for humanity. Find out more about who we are by reading our Vision Statement and Values.

It’s All About Jesus

Through his death on the cross for us, Jesus took on himself the penalty due to us for our wrong thoughts and actions and attitudes.  Through our belief and acceptance that Jesus died for us, we can experience God’s love and forgiveness and acceptance of us. Through his coming to life again, Jesus proved that he has power over death, both for himself and for those who choose to become followers of Jesus. The way to know God’s love and forgiveness for us is by believing in Jesus, asking God to forgive us, and committing our lives as followers of Jesus. If you are still figuring out who Jesus is and what that means, our Sunday worship gathering  and our small group ministry are both great places to consider and explore. Alternatively, we can point you to some Resources that can assist you to find out more about Jesus, or feel free to contact us as we would love to talk to you about faith in Jesus.

The Connect section of our site provides information about  our Staff,  ministry leaders, a variety of ministry groups, and how to connect with them.   Through these ministries and all that we do we seek to reflect the love and hope of Jesus.
