We all can relate in some way to stories of personal and community journeys and experiences.
It is our intention to progressively share with you, personal stories of faith and what God is doing in the lives of people, from within Rouse Hill Community Baptist Church, others in the wider community, and wider world, with whom we do life and ministry.
Our first story is that of the journey of our church from its inception as Lighthouse Community Church through to our decision to change our name to Rouse Hill Community Church. We invite you to read our story “Changing names: a turning point” by Reverend Dr John Reid, one of the foundation members of the church and currently one of our Servant Leaders.
One group with whom we partner in overseas and cross-cultural ministry is Samaritan’s Purse.
Samaritan’s Purse is an international Christian relief organisation that stands ready to respond at a moment’s notice when humanitarian crisis or disaster strikes.
One of their projects that people at Rouse Hill Community Baptist Church have specifically supported is called Operation Christmas Child.
We would like to share with you a story from Operation Christmas Child that we believe providers an insight into the value of what they do and helps you understand why we at Rouse Hill Community Baptist Church feel privileged to be albe to support this important project.
